Sophisticated Bryant Park, NYC Wedding

We so love working at the various venues in upstate New York, however when we get a call from a couple planning to get married in New York City - we make it happen.

The wedding of Lisa and Will was no exception. I knew from the moment Lisa called in August (yes less than a month prior to the wedding) that I wanted to work on her fabulous wedding. The style, the ideas and the location : Bryant Park Grille, the iconic venue in New York City was a must!

With Will and Lisa living in NYC, I planned on meeting them at the venue, as I so often do with out of town couples and we went over all their ideas and vision for the day. They have incredible taste and we quickly were able finalize all of the concepts. The sticking point was the ceremony. The rooftop was beautiful but the way the aisle was laid out did not create the symmetry they were looking for, so I proposed having the ceremony outside. After some conversation, the couple agreed and they had the most beautiful ceremony on the outdoor patio, surrounded by friends, family, loved ones and about 100 tourists who happened to be strolling through Bryant Park.   Lisa looks stunning in her grecian inspired dress and Will so handsome and happy to be marrying his lady.

This autumn wedding was truly wonderful - the tone on tone ivory florals with contrasting foliage  and gold vessels and candles was a perfect choice for the venue. We lined the restaurants' fabulous window sills with hundreds of gold votives our, brass candleholders and and antique vases.

The tables had a mix of single compote vase centerpieces and mixed foliage garlands which worked in symphony with the layout of the room and looked spectacular.

And did you see the flowers girls? Weren’t they just adorable!

Fabulous Barn Wedding in the Catskill Mountains

Planning the wedding of Gabi and Chase was a delight! As with many of our couples, they are based in NYC and therefore much of the planning was via email and phone. When I finally met them it was a real treat!  Not only are they the sweetest couple, but were surrounded by the nicest family and friends!!

Nestled in the Catskills, they were looking for a location that would become a weekend get away for many of their guests. The Inn at West Settlement gave them just that!

Their look was relaxed and organic and looked for blush and mauve florals with interesting mixed foliage. The Bride wore an incredible dress and the bridesmaids were in an incredible ombre - to complement we created bouquets subtly unique. We love the “something blue” ribbon Gabi wanted on her bouquet!

The ceremony arbor was adorned with mixed blush roses and accenting foliage to evoke a natural look. Like the flowers were there all along! The unspoiled hills and trees in the background were the perfect backdrop.

We created a table-scape of mixed heirloom vases each uniquely holding ensembles of the various floral varieties that allowed for family style platters to be set up.

It was our honor and pleasure to be part of this wedding! Wishing you both endless happiness and success in life!

Elevated Rustic Private Residence Wedding

Intimate weddings rock! Matilda and Michael chose to have their special day at a superb private residence in Saratoga Springs. The weather was incredible and all the details were elegant and well thought out.

The Bride wanted soft tone on tone ivory and blush bouquets that were lose and organic. We designed matching ones for the bridesmaids.

The ceremony was outside overlooking beautiful hills and countryside. Here we incorporated a little with pop of color with peach, orange and cobalt blue flowers on a rustic birch arch. The bride provided ivory/gold linens and they were perfect at creating that intimate feel during the ceremony!

That tent! The only way to go is with a clear tent - the long farmhouse tables were the perfect backdrop to our 32 foot foliage runner -  we kept the feel fresh, organic and 100% in keeping with the natural surroundings.

For the cake - more foliage and accenting eucalyptus seeds.

Team work makes for great work ... we loved working with: Rain of Shine, Rustic Robin, Nove Restaurant and thank the wonderful James Autery from WithinThisDay for the fabulous images! Cheers!

Nicole and Dan - Longfellows, Saratoga Springs, NY

Nicole and Dan married on a perfect and crisp Autumn day. We loved the muted color palette and the Bride's love for succulents! They looked wonderful in the bouquets and as boutonnieres! The couple chose the rustic setting of Longfellows in Saratoga Springs and we were excited to be asked to prepare the bouquets and personals. Candles were the main decor in the reception room, which looked fantastic under the large lit tree that stands majestically over the tables.

Love love love this photo! Nicole and Dan look so in love and the changing leaves create such a beautiful backdrop.

Lonnie and Guntars - Private Residence, Stillwater, NY

We loved everything about this wedding. The colors, the vision and the setting all worked in harmony for this amazing couple! The look was untraditional, unstructured and to encompass the beautiful deep fall colors. Rosehip, wheat and other textural elements were used throughout to create interest.

White King Protea, Mink Protea and Blushing Bride Proteas were center stage to this unstructured and unique bouquet. We added Lisianthus and Lavender spray roses, burgundy Dahlias and lots of mixed foliage for texture and contrast. Beautiful!

Tall centerpieces made a statement in the beautiful room. The antique mercury, mixed foliage and florals worked in harmony. How cute are the candleholders!
